Fish Fish

The boys just finished up summer swimming lessons and have just done great. At the beginning of summer, John was PETRIFIED of the water when he couldn't touch...it took all we had to get him in past his knees. Now he's become quite the 'fish fish' as Jacob says. He can swim on his stomach a little ways by himself, which is huge!! Jake is quite the water baby too...he is fearless. The only catch is you have to do what he wants to do in the water, or else the water monster appears!! He's learned how to blow bubbles this summer, crawl out of the pool, kick on his tummy and back and we worked on scooping the arms, but he's not quite there yet. They are in swimming lessons throughout the winter too so we don't have the same problems next year with fears as we did this year. Here's a little video of the boys in their swim lesson today.
