Friday, the city had a Family Christmas night, so we thought we'd check it out. They had all kinds of games and activities for the kids (candle making, cookie decorating, a nativity scene, musicians, balloons, free hot chocolate, cider, popcorn, puppet show, pinatas, etc). We had a great time wandering around despite the awful weather. We even squeezed in a visit to Santa. John was so excited to see Santa...he did ask several time what would happen if he pulled Santa's gotee off...Jacob did ok with Santa too. The pic below is not to flattering of him...but that's kind of how he looked Wed-Fri last week b/c he's on Round 2 of the double ear infections. He's doing well now though. Even though he was quite the trooper, Santa wore him out and he crashed out for the rest of the evening.
