Jake had his first field trip where he rode on the big yellow school bus without mom. When we first found out about the field trip, I asked Jacob if he wanted me to go. I wasn't sure what his reply would be but was a bit shocked by his response. He said (chuckling), "That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. What a stupid idea Mom." Trying not to laugh and cry at the same time, I said, "Ok, if you change your mind, let me know." Well he did and I got to go!! I didn't get to ride the bus but we had a good time. He spent most of the time telling everyone about the baby sister in my tummy and inviting everyone to touch my belly. It was adventursome for us all!! I'm glad I got to have that time with my Jake!! He's gotten too big too fast.
