And there was much rejoicing!

Well, he finally did it! We got him to go #2 in the potty today and it was very exciting! This was the first time there was not wailing and gnashing of teeth on anyone's part.
So today we were having a different cable put in at the house and so there was a young man here working (with lots of cool tools) from 8am-5:30pm (long story). Needless to say, John and this gentleman became good buddies. So much so that after John completed his potty visit, he barely gave me enough time to wipe his rear before he went running 1/2 naked down the hall to proclaim, "hey worker guy! i just went poop in the potty." This was met with lots of laughter from said 'worker guy' and a high-5. He was a good sport.
A bit later the boys and I were playing and John said, "hey mom...i'm pretty awesome." he was a proud boy and i was a proud mom!
